Pedro Beretta
Managing Partner
Holds a postgraduate degree in Economic and European Criminal Law from the Law School at the University of Coimbra in Portugal and is specialized in Financial Markets and Capital Markets from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
Pedro was an assistant-professor of criminal law (criminal execution) at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and Secretary of the Economic Criminal Law Committee at the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB-SP). A guest speaker at various institutions, he is a mentor of the "Guide-U - creating talents for the future" program.
He is associated with the Institute for the Defense of the Right to Defense (IDDD), a member of the Penal Committee of the Center for Studies of the Society of Lawyers (CESA), a member of the Criminal Procedure Committee of OAB-SP, Subsection Pinheiros, and the Criminal Law Committee of OAB/SP.
Publications:
- Co-author of the book "Contemporary Law - Studies of the Criminal Law Committee of CESA," on the topic "Money Laundering in Brazilian Criminal Law: Considerations about Conduct in Light of Law No. 12,683/2012."
